Should you decide to drop or withdrawal from the University, it is your responsibility to file the drop or withdrawal form(s) with the Office of the Registrar by the deadline. The student tuition refund rates are based on the date when a student drops or withdraws from a course in accordance with University enrollment policies, and when the refund is approved. More information about undergraduate tuition refunds can be found in the University Catalog.
Tuition refunds are made in accordance to the existing Tuition Refund Policy and are based upon the date of withdrawal. If the student believes they may be eligible for an exception to the Tuition Refund policy and wishes to petition for a percentage refund due to special circumstances (e.g., medical emergency), the student must fill out the Tuition Refund Exception Application Form. This form will require the student to submit a letter of explanation of special circumstances and any additional documentation to support their request (such as a doctor's letter of verification). A committee will review the student’s petition and within two to four weeks notify the student of the final decision.
